Last Christmas, our family launched our mindfulness card game called “Train Your Puppy.”
The purpose of the game, developed with our boys, is to help children learn how to relate to the full spectrum of emotions – good, bad and ugly – with the same patience and affection they would show a rambunctious puppy.
Even most adults don’t know how to relate with gentleness to especially hard feelings inside. But it’s something we can all learn! The game provides an opportunity for families to start new conversations, and introduce language and metaphors to their home – offering the same for teachers and therapists supporting their students and clients (see here for more details about the game).
The response was wonderful last holiday season. Without any chance for marketing during the year, we’re hoping to reach more families this holiday season. Are you looking for a unique gift for family with younger children, or grandparents and teachers providing crucial support?
If so, consider submitting an order (here). Our family packs the envelopes in the evening and my boys will help me make sure it gets sent out as soon as we can.
I sincerely hope this will make a difference for you or your loved ones. Your support is appreciated!
